The Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support the armed forces community and inspire other organisations to do the same. The scheme encompasses Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces’ community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
Having achieved the Bronze award earlier this year, the team at Correll are honoured to achieve the Silver Award and pledge to fully support the defence community in all that we do.
One of our own service veterans, Geoff Briggs, Operations Director commented: “We are delighted to be able to show our full support and commitment to ex-military personnel. Correll have been employing service veterans for many years and this next step formalises our ongoing pledge to supporting their equal opportunities within the community, economy and society that they have served. “We look forward to building on our commitment to the armed forces community while working toward achieving Gold status in the near future”.
