  • High Voltage Commissioning

Commissioning is a key part in the construction process of the Offshore Wind Farm, and Correll assist developers by providing a team of specialist High Voltage (HV) engineers to safely and efficiently energise their asset.

This, coupled with our on-site HV Control Room ensures the commissioning process runs seamlessly every time.

The process:

When initiating the commissioning of a Wind Farm, numerous components come into play, including contractors and various processes that must be adhered to.

Correll’s capability to provide HV Safety Rules, HV Control Room, and SAP’s up to 400kV, enhances the ability to optimize meeting deadlines while prioritising safety, a crucial aspect.

Why Correll HVM

Our HVM team act as your on-site observers, deploying a team of engineers with extensive experience.

Leveraging our global presence, we can tap into specialised engineers from a multitude of operating countries. Following the successful commissioning of the wind farm, we seamlessly transition to the site operations and maintenance team, ensuring that every step has been diligently taken without any shortcuts for added assurance.

Components of HVM Commissioning
  • High Voltage Management: We implement the country specific HV Safety Rules to achieve safety from the system. This is achieved by working with the HV Control Room / Surveillance from either the UK or Taiwan.
  • High Voltage Commissioning Management: Our project management teams offer support in overseeing the installation and commissioning practices of contractors. We handle the approval of commissioning documentation, ensuring thorough documentation and capturing all critical information essential for the project completion and successful handover.
