  • Correll Group secure a further contract with Asso.subsea

Correll Group, Cable Installation & Power Services Division is delighted to announce it has been awarded a contract with Asso.subsea, a specialized global contractor in the submarine cable industry for cable pull-in operations on the Saint-Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm. The full scope of work includes pulling HV subsea cables into the 62 Wind Turbine Generators as well as the Offshore Sub Station.

The project will be split into two campaigns, with the first campaign starting imminently.

Saint-Brieuc is located 16.3km off the coast of Saint-Brieuc Bay in Brittany, north-western France and is developed, constructed and commissioned by Ailes Marines a company 100% owned by Iberdrola. The proposed development zone extends over an area of approximately 75km² in the English Channel and will consist of 62 Siemens Gamesa 8.0-167 DD offshore wind turbines.

Upon completion the wind farm will be one of the biggest commercial-scale offshore wind projects in France generating a total installed capacity of 496 megawatts, enough clean energy for 835,000 homes.
